This is an immaculate Full Set Rolex Milgauss GVZ, bought in 2018 and never adjusted or worn. It has the classic plain stainless steel case and Oyster bracelet and the beautiful combination of blue dial and green glass.
It comes complete with everything that came from the factory, including the boxes and papers, booklets and tags. Parts of the bracelet are still stickered.
The Rolex Milgauss was developed in the late 1950s specifically for the scientists at CERN whose wristwatches wouldn’t work in areas of high magnetism because the movement of most watches stops working when subjected to magnetic fields measuring around 70 Gauss.
This watch was specially designed to work in areas of up to 1,000 Gauss – hence the name ‘Milgauss’.
